NEWS FOR THE CREW 27.01.22

Dear Celestyal Crewmember ……...27/01/2022

Celestyal Cruises has been working closely with health and government authorities of all the countries that we sail to, continuously evaluating our operation plans and our itineraries. Following the latest updates for COVID-19 the management of Celestyal Cruises made the difficult decision to postpone the starting of our operations. Our vessels will return to guest operation as follows: . Celestyal Crystal on the 18th of April from the port of Lavrion . Celestyal Olympia on the 29th of April from the port of Lavrion Although we fully appreciate the impact of this decision for you and your families the postponement was considered necessary for ensuring our safe return to cruising and the success of this season. We count on your continuous loyalty and support for the reactivation of our vessels and the growth of our company. Looking forward to welcome all of you towards the end of February 2022. You will be contacted individually for the details of your joining.

Restart of voyages

Restart of voyages

Dear Celestyal Crewmember ……... 13/01/2021

Restart of voyages.

Celestyal crew safety and well-being is always our priority. In cooperation with Cruise Line International Association and after some promising signs our management has decided to restart the cruises from Greece to the Greek island & Turkey in the end of April 2021. Our company has made the decision to sail during that period and the summer which historically is the perfect travel season for our product. Above of all we must follow the set of health protocols that would allow cruising to proceed. We will revert with further details.

Dear Celestyal Crewmember ……... 21/08/2020

Welcome Celestyal Experience to our fleet.

"While COVID-19 has brought a temporary pause to our operations, it is important that we look to the future with optimism and continue to deliver on our strategic plan to grow the business and enhance the award-winning Celestyal experience through investment’’ our CEO Mr. Chris Theophilides said. "I'm delighted with the addition of this mid-size cruise vessel to our fleet. She is ideally suited to our business model and is very well appointed following her significant transformation in 2012." Built in 1993 and extensively refurbished in 2012, the ship has 789 cabins, 132 of which feature balconies, as well as a variety of dining and entertainment venues, bars and lounges, two pools, a gym and a panoramic spa. We look forward to seeing you onboard our new vessel………………………………………

News for the crew

Dear Celestyal Crewmember ……... 01/07/2020

As all we are aware cruise companies and public health officials are still evacuating and repatriating tens of thousands of crew members who have remained at sea as the pandemic raged. In Celestyal Cruises we believe that for the crew to feel safe, they need to know that the passengers around them wont’be boarding the ship sick and the passengers they need to know that the crew will be held to a high standard of wellness. Taking into consideration all these circumstances the management of Celestyal Cruises made the difficult decision to postpone resuming cruise operations until the scheduled start of our normal spring season next year. We will shift our full attention to recommence sailing from the 6th of March 2021. Of course, nothing we can do without the support of our crew members and we are deeply sorry that they stay at home suffering due to COVID-19. We hope that the period until next March will pass very quick and we look forward to welcoming all our Celestyal crew members again.

Celestyal crew announcement

Dear Celestyal Cruises crewmember, In our continuous efforts to keep you updated we would like to inform you of the following latest developments: As you know the voluntary initial suspension of our cruise operations was until 1 May 2020. The continued impact of COVID-19 pandemic however, resulted to an increasing number of temporary travel bans, closures of cruise ports, closure of major attractions and countries imposing restrictions on public gatherings and visitors. This situation has forced us to take the difficult but necessary decision to extend our suspension of operations until June 29, 2020. Currently, our cruises will resume on this date with the four-night Iconic Aegean sailing of the Celestyal Olympia. While we understand any disappointment and appreciate the constrains and anxiety this decision may bring to each one of you, we want to highlight that its sole aim is to protect the health of everybody onboard our vessels whether crew or passengers and it is based on the advice of World Health Organization, health professionals and regulators around the world. We will continue to keep in touch with further updates as they come. Till then, stay healthy with your family .

News for the crew

Dear Celestyal Crewmember,

Now that you are at home with your family, we imagine that besides your daily tasks you are engaged in a battle to cope with the problems that this unprecedented situation has brought. We really hope that you are managing as well as possible under the circumstances, and we want you to know that we are here for you. The most important thing is to stay healthy. We are proud that we did not have any incident onboard our vessels and that the measures we took for the protection of our crew and passengers during our operation worked, thanks to your invaluable contribution. As you are probably aware, there are some sad news about the loss of some crewmembers onboard other ships due to COVID infection. This is partly attributed to the fact that many crewmembers were and still are unable to sign off and be repatriated due to the unavailability of flights or the closure of the borders. Fortunately, we have avoided similar occurrences. By acting swiftly and prudently we managed to safely repatriate everybody, while crewmembers stranded onboard other vessels report that they are stressed and worried about themselves as well as their colleagues infected by COVID. We have all found ourselves navigating in uncharted waters after the suspension of the operation of our two vessels the Celestyal Crystal and the Celestyal Olympia. We know that this brings uncertainty about the future and makes you worry. For this reason, we have decided to create this dedicated web page for our direct and constant communication of our plans regarding the restarting of our operations so that you can stay alert and be ready to travel to re-assume your positions onboard. Pls check this web page regularly for further updates.

Stay healthy. Stay in touch
